What is Mediterranean Dip?
It’s a cross between tzatziki sauce and a traditional dill veggie dip, but then it’s loaded with feta cheese and olive oil. So it’s pretty much the best thing ever, in my humble opinion.
The flavors are fresh and light. And I’m going to be honest, this dip is extremely addicting…so making a double batch is always advised!
How do I make Mediterranean Dip?
This time of year I’m all about easy. And this dip is no exception! Simple ingredients and quick prep time make this dip a family favorite in our house!
You’ll chop up some fresh dill, zest a lemon and then combine sour cream, cream cheese, olive oil and feta for a tangy, creamy dip that’ll be perfect for your next tailgate party!
Can I make Mediterranean Dip ahead of time?
Yes! This dip will stay fresh in your fridge for up to 5 days. So feel free to make it whenever it’s convenient for you and serve it when it’s time to get the party started!
What should I serve with Mediterranean Dip?
I am real sucker for a classic potato chip, especially if it’s got a wave or ruffle texture. They’re super sturdy and stand up to the thick, creamy dip really well.
And just because variety is the spice of life, I also like to include some sliced veggies along with my Mediterranean dip.
If you’d like to stick with Mediterranean theme, pita chips would be a great dip-able option too. I’ve actually been known to spread this on a gyro from time to time as well. Just sayin!Print

- 6 oz. sour cream, room temperature
- 4 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
- 2 oz. crumbled feta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil + more for garnish
- 1/4 cup chopped dill + more for garnish
- zest of 1/2 a lemon
- Kosher salt
- fresh cracked pepper
- potato chips
- sliced veggies
- Combine all ingredients in a medium sized bowl.
- Garnish with olive oil and fresh dill.
- Serve with potato chips or sliced veggies.
