- 2 lbs. fresh asparagus spears
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Kosher salt
- fresh cracked pepper

Instructions
- Heat air fryer to 400 degrees.
- Cut the woody ends off the asparagus.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and a couple large pinches of salt and pepper.
- Toss to coat evenly.
- Place on air fryer tray or in basket and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Garnish with Malden’s finishing salt and drizzle with garlic Parmesan sauce if desired. Enjoy!

- Trim the asparagus. The bottom ends of asparagus are woody and need to be cut off because they are not really edible. You can either slice the last 1-2 inches off or take each spear and snap it off naturally towards the end.
- Don’t overcrowd the asparagus. If you’re making a lot of asparagus just cook in batches so that it can cook through evenly and get perfectly tender.
- Drizzle with Parmesan sauce! You can eat this air fryer asparagus with almost anything but my 15 minute garlic parmesan sauce takes it to the next level. Or try sprinkling this air fryer asparagus with grated Parmesan cheese to add some nutty flavor.
- If you like it spicy, add a pinch of red pepper flakes before or after air frying. You can also switch up the spices to try different flavors. Some of our favorites include curry powder, cumin, or chili powder!
