This crispy breadcrumb topping comes together in about 10 minutes with just 6 simple ingredients. It’s the easiest way to add crunchy, salty, nutty flavor to salads, soups, and creamy dips.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pistachios
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • pinch of garlic powder
  • Kosher salt
  • fresh cracked pepper

Instructions

  1. Add breadcrumbs, pistachios, and a couple pinches of salt and pepper to a large saute pan over medium-low heat.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and toss occasionally while toasting for a few minutes or until the panko turns dark golden brown. Keep a close eye on things so the topping doesn’t burn!
  3. Sprinkle with garlic powder and stir well to distribute. Transfer to a plate to cool.
  4. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve on all your favorite salads, soups, and appetizers!
