- 14-16 ounce loaf French bread
- 8 tablespoons softened butter
- 1/3 cup finely chopped parsley
- 4 cloves garlic, finely minced or grated
- 8 ounces shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese
- Kosher salt
Instructions
- Heat oven to 400 degrees.
- Add butter, parsley, and garlic along with a large pinch of salt to a medium bowl. Mix until well combined.

- Slice loaf of bread into 3/4″-1″ slices. Place cut side up on a baking sheet.
- Spread garlic butter in an even layer across the cut side of each piece of bread.

- Top with shredded cheese.

- Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the edges of the bread are dark golden brown and crispy. Serve with your favorite pasta and enjoy!

Notes
- Use freshly grated mozzarella for the best melt. Pre-shredded won’t melt as smoothly.
- For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of grated Parmesan before baking.
- If you prefer crispier slices, turn the oven to broil for the last 1–2 minutes, but watch closely!
- Add red pepper flakes for a little heat.
