20 minutes of prep is all it takes to get these beer braised short ribs ready for the crock pot and ensure that they come out oh SO juicy and tender that they fall right off the bone.

Ingredients:

- olive oil - beef short ribs - onion - celery - carrots - garlic -dried thyme - dried sage - beer - beef broth - bay leaves - salt - corn starch - heavy cream - fresh parsley

Sear short ribs in olive oil

Saute veggies in that same oil

Add garlic and dried herbs

Cook for another minute or so

Transfer to crock pot insert

Add ribs and beer to the crock pot

Add beef broth

Add bay leaves and cook until beef is fall apart tender

Enjoy as is, or make a quick gravy from the leftover braising liquid!

Add three cups of braising liquid to a small saucepan

Add a corn starch slurry and cook for a few minutes

Add heavy cream

Season to taste with salt and pepper

Serve beef over mashed potatoes and garnish with parsley
