- 2 pounds pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into 24 small cubes
- 24 pepperoni slices
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Kosher salt
- fresh chopped parsley and grated Parmesan, for garnish
- 1 cup pizza sauce, for dipping
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees and lightly grease an 11.5 inch deep dish pie pan or large cast iron skillet.
- Roll pizza dough out into a rectangle on a lightly floured work surface. Use a pizza cutter to cut it into 24 squares. (6 rows and 4 columns)
- Place a cube of mozzarella and a slice of pepperoni in the center. Pinch and seal the edges forming a small ball. Continue with the remaining pizza dough, cheese, and pepperoni.
- Place dough balls seam-side down in the lightly greased pan. Mix melted butter, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and a large pinch of Kosher salt in a small bowl. Brush garlic butter mixture over top of the pizza bites.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- Sprinkle parsley and grated Parmesan on top. Serve with warmed pizza sauce on the side and enjoy!
