Notes
Get a good quality olive oil. I dive a little deeper into choosing the right olive oil over on my Olive Oil Bread Dip post. Basically you’re looking for something organic and cold pressed. It doesn’t have to cost $20 for a bottle. But you’re investing in the flavor and when olive oil is one of the main ingredients you definitely want to get something with a taste you enjoy.
Slice fresh garlic. Skip the jarred stuff on the shelf at your grocery store. And opt for a freshly sliced clove of garlic. You won’t be sorry and the extra minute that it takes you to slice it will be totally worth it! There is no competition when it comes to fresh sliced garlic over jarred garlic.
