Reheating leftovers to their original glory is a mystery we've been trying to solve for a while now, especially when it comes to pizza. Luckily, air fryers have completely changed the game when it comes to reheating leftover pizza! You can have a hot slice ready in about 5 minutes - complete with crispy crust and melty cheese!

Ingredients

  • leftover slices of pizza

Instructions

  1. Do not preheat air fryer!
  2. Place leftover slice(s) of pizza on the air fryer tray/basket.
  3. Turn the air fryer to 350 degrees.
  4. Cook pizza for 3-5 minutes or until it's warmed through and the cheese is melty. Enjoy!

Notes

  • There's no need for parchment paper or tin foil because the tray/basket is coated with a non-stick coating. However, if you have super cheesy pizza, you may want to add a sheet of parchment to make for easy cleanup. You also don't need to spray the tray or basket with olive oil or spray the pizza either.
  • Place pizza slices in a single layer without overlapping. To make sure each piece of pizza reheats evenly and they don't stick together, it's best to make sure the pizza slices are laid out in one layer. This might mean that you have to reheat the pizza in batches. It's also best to make sure they are spaced apart a bit so the heat can circulate around them. So if you're reheating a whole pizza, separate out each piece.
  • If the cheese or toppings are starting to brown before the pizza is warmed through, turn the temperature down by about 20-25 degrees.
