Copycat Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Honey Butter Recipe
- If you’re a fan of Texas Roadhouse cinnamon honey butter then you’re going to love this recipe! One of the easier copy-cat butter recipes, this cinnamon butter is made with just a few common ingredients. Blend everything together in the food processor, or use an electric mixer and it takes just 5 minutes!
- If you’re looking for something special to add to your weekend brunch spread, this cinnamon honey butter is it! It pairs perfectly with fluffy waffles, fresh scones, or just plain old dinner rolls.
Ingredients for Cinnamon Honey Butter
- Butter: I like to use unsalted but salted will work as well.
- Powdered Sugar: Powdered sugar gives the cinnamon butter a smooth texture and a deliciously sweet taste.
- Honey: Honey adds flavor and also makes the butter more spreadable. I wouldn’t recommend a substitution for this ingredient.
- Cinnamon: Ground cinnamon is the star of the show!
- Vanilla Extract: Vanilla extract cuts through the sweetness of this cinnamon butter and adds a warm flavor. You can also use vanilla bean paste.
- Salt: A pinch of salt is all you need to perfectly balance the sweet flavors.
How to Make Cinnamon Butter
Add ingredients to a food processor.
Blend until well combined and smooth.
Serve with warm rolls, fluffy pancakes, or freshly baked muffins, and enjoy!
Tips for Making Cinnamon Honey Butter
- Let the butter get to room temperature first. It’s just much easier to mix with the other ingredients and helps create a smoother texture. Let it sit out on the counter for an hour or two and it should be ready to go.
- If you don’t have a food processor use an electric mixer. Unfortunately, you’re going to need one of the two in order to get that truly delicious, smooth, creamy consistency.

This came out perfect! We’re a sugar-free family so I left out the sugar and honey and my kids still thought it was such a special treat on sweet potatoes.
Great idea serving it on sweet potatoes, Melanie!
