5 Minute {Vegan} Rawnola
This 5 minute rawnola is perfect for a quick breakfast when you are running behind and need to get out the door! Loaded with dates, pecans, rolled oats, coconut flakes, chia seeds and honey it’s naturally sweetened and perfectly delicious!
You Will Love This
- It’s SO quick!! I love a classic granola recipe as much as the next gal, but when I’m short on time and want something healthy to fuel me through the day – I always turn to this rawnola! We’re talking less than 5 minutes from start to finish.
- It’s not too sweet. I don’t know about you but I’m not a huge fan of tons of sugar or sweetness right away in the morning. The natural sweetness from the dates and honey (or agave nectar) is the perfect amount of sweet for me.
- Your kids will love it! It’s not super sweet, but it does almost taste like dessert so I never have trouble getting my toddler to eat this rawnola – especially when I pair it with maple yogurt and fruit!
Instructions
Add ingredients to a food processor.
Pulse until everything is well chopped and mixed. The texture should be clumpy yet soft.
Serve with your favorite yogurt or sliced fruit and enjoy!
Tips
- Start with 1 tablespoon of honey or agave nectar and add more as needed. If the rawnola seems to dry, add another spoon of honey until it becomes clumpy yet soft.
- You can really use whatever you have on hand for this recipe! Switch out the pecans for walnuts. Add hemp hearts instead of chia seeds. Replace the coconut flakes with more rolled oats. As long as the proportions stay the same – and you don’t skip the dates and honey – the end result will be pretty much the same!

I am so glad that you enjoyed this rawnola recipe, Ivette!
This is extremely tasty omg!! Naturally sweet and tastes perfect with coconut milk!!
I can only imagine how good this is with coconut milk – great idea! I’m so glad you enjoyed this easy rawnola recipe, Dee!
I’m 2 weeks into a 90 day raw vegan diet. I’ll admit, some raw vegan recipes I’ve tried didn’t turn out too well and some were just awful! Lol. This recipe was easy, I had all the ingredients, except the coconut flakes and pecans, which I substituted for oats and walnuts. I love this recipe! I will say it seemed too dry, so instead of just adding more honey, I also added 3 more dates, so mine is crumbly, but not as crumbly as the pic..more sticky, but it’s so good! I ate it with almond milk, but also straight from the bowl by itself. I can’t say enough how good this is!
How well does this store?
Great! I would keep it in the fridge and it should stay fresh for up to a week!
I had mine with fresh strawberries and soymilk. I used coconut flakes , oats, dates, raisins, chia seeds, agave and almonds. I didn’t add salt I didn’t think it needed it. I also didn’t measure I just added as I went. This is so great you can make so many tasty combinations. This really was delish and will definitely be using this recipe base again.
Thank you!??
It looked AMAZING! Wish I was having that for breakfast this week. Thanks so much for leaving a review, Danielle. I really appreciate it 🙂
Could I substitute the agave for liquid stevia?
Great question! I haven’t used liquid stevia before but I would imagine that it would work just fine in this recipe! Perhaps start with about half the amount and then add to taste after that. Let me know how it turns out!! 🙂
The perfect breakfast on the go! This rawnola is quick, tasty and so so so easy to make!
