    You Will Love These

    • I always love the *idea* of those frozen store bought bagel bites, but to be honest, those frozen snacks are never as good as I want them to be! The homemade version of bagel bites is SO. MUCH. BETTER. Fresh instead frozen and about 15 minutes from start to finish, these pizza bagel bites will quickly become a staple snack in your house!

    Ingredients and Substitutions

    • Mini Bagels - I like to use plain bagels for this recipe but you could use your favorites! Jalapeno cheddar or everything bagels would be delicious in this recipe. You could also use full size bagels. The ingredients in this recipe will be enough to top 3-4 regular size bagels.
    • Pizza Sauce - I typically just use store bought pizza sauce but if you want to make your own, go for it!
    • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese - I love to use thick cut shredded mozzarella for these pizza bagels but you can use your favorite. Provolone, white cheddar, or Monterey Jack would work too!
    • Pepperoni - Feel free to switch up the pepperoni in this recipe for whatever your favorite toppings are! Keep it vegetarian with olives and tomatoes. Add a little spice with sliced pickled jalapenos. Or keep it kid friendly with a hearty layer of just cheese!

    Instructions

Lay bagels on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

    Tips

    • To add a little something extra to these bagel bites, spread a thin layer of garlic butter on the bagels and bake them in the oven for a couple minutes before adding the pizza sauce, cheese, and other toppings. This will add a delicious layer of flavor!
    • Let your family make their own bagel bites! This is one of our family's favorites because we can each top our bagel pizzas with whatever we want. My partner likes pepperoni and jalapeno. I usually do pepperoni and green olive. And our daughter loves classic pepperoni with extra sauce on the side for dipping!
    • Just don't go too crazy with the toppings. If you add too many toppings the pizza won't cook through all the way. Stick to just a layer of cheese and a couple other toppings for the best result.
